Ongoing schemes
An outlay of Rs. 966.07. lacs has been proposed as Ongoing schemes in Annual Development Plan for the year 2011-2012 The details are as under:-
Strengthening of Establishment under Labour Commissionerate
Under the LBR-1 Rs.341.70 lacs has been proposed for various purpose in the year 2011-2012 among them an outlay of Rs. 110.00 lacs has been proposed for maintenance of staff sanctioned under the plan scheme at district level .Rs. 2.00 lacs is proposed for library development, Rs. 0.40 lacs have been proposed for awareness of Implementation of labour laws related to women and child labour and any other schemes framed by Government of Gujarat Rs 1.00 lacs is proposed for Lok Adalats to held at district and talukas level, Rs. 1.00 lacs is proposed for NCLP project, Rs. 43.56 lacs is proposed for 22 hire vehicles for head-office and district offices, Rs. 1.98 lacs is proposed for hire vehicle for The Contract Labour advisory Board, In the year 2010-2011, the government has sanctioned Rs.10.00 lacs for State Action plan for elimination of child Labour, this year it will be continued. For this purpose an outlay of Rs. 10.00 lacs is proposed for Release and rescue of child labour , Training, capacity building and Research , Awareness and social mobilization , Educational Rehabilitation of Rescue Children and Any other strategy or contingency, Rs. 150.00 lacs is proposed for Informal Sector & MIS Unit of the head-office, Rs. 6.60 lacs is proposed for Legal Adviser for Head Office & Region Offices like Ahmedabad, Vadodara, Rajakot and Surat, 3.84 lacs is proposed for post of Assistant Labour Commissioner at Amreli district, 5.38 lacs is proposed for New post of Office of the Government Labour Officer for Tapi district, 5.94 lacs is proposed for hire vehicles of Vadodara, Jamnagar, & Gandhidham district Office.
