| MINIMUM WAGES ACT, 1948 |
No. KHR-147-MWA-1087-1239-M(2) In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 19of the Minimum wages Act, 1948 (Act No. XI of 1948) and in supersession of the Government Notification, Labour, Social Welfare and Tribal Development Department, No. KH-L-1033/MWA –1069-107270(78) T dated the 21st December, 1979 Labour and Employment Department No. KH-R-76-MWA-1082 1-T,-285(1)-GH. Dated 31st January, 1983 and Labour and Employment Department No. KHR-249-MWA-1085-303-M-2, dated the 4the April, 1985 the Government of Gujarat hereby :-
(a) appoints the persons specified in column 2 of the Schedule annexed hereto be the Inspectors for the purpose of the said Act and
(b) defines the areas respectively specified against therein column 3 of the said scheduled to be the local limits within which shall exercise functions.
