| MINIMUM WAGES ACT, 1948. |
No. KHR-147/MWA-1087-1239-M(2) : In exercise of the powers conferred by section 19 of the Minimum Wages Act, 1948 (Act No. XI of 1948) and in super session of the Government Notifications, Labour, Social Welfare and Tribal Development Department No. KH-L-1033/MWA-1069-107270(78)-T, dated the 21st December, 1979, Labour and Employment Department, No. kh-r-76-mwa-1082-285(i)-GH, dated 31st January, 1983 and Labour and Employment Department No. KHR-240-MWA-1085-303-M-2M dated the 4th April, 1985 the Government of Gujarat hereby :-
(a) appoints the persons specified in column 2 of the Schedule annexed hereto be the Inspector for the purpose of the said Act and
(b) defines the areas respectively specified against therein column 3 of the said schedule to be the local limits within which they shall exercise their function.
