MINIMUM WAGES ACT, 1968.
No. KH-SH-432/MWA-1069/55654-T.-In exercise of the powers conferred by section 19 of the Minimum Wages Act, 1948 (XI of 1948). The Government of Gujarat hereby appoints the Taluka Development Officer, appointed under the Gujarat Panchayat Act, 1961 (Guj VI of 1962). To be Inspectors for the purpose of the Minimum Wages Act, 1948, and defines the limits of their respective Jurisdiction to be the local limits within which they shall exercise their functions.
