No. KH-SH-1095/MWA-3169/84490-T.-In exercise o the powers conferred by sub section (1) of section 26 of the Minimum Wages Act, 1948 (XI of 1948) (hereinafter referred to as “the said Act”).in its application to the Sated of Gujarat, the Government of Guajarat here by direct that with effect from 1st January, 1970, the provisions of the said Act shall not apply in relation to wages payable to disabled employees employed in any of the employments specified in the schedule appended to the said Act.
