No. KH-SH-650/MWA-1064-51972-T.-In exercise of the powers conferred by the clause (c) of section 2 of the Minimum Wages Act, 1948 (XI of 1948) in its application to the State of Gujarat the Government of Gujarat hereby appoints the Deputy Commissioner of Labour, Ahmedabad, as the Competent Authority to ascertain from time to time the cost of living index number applicable to the employees employed in all scheduled employments of the kind referred to in sub-clause (ii) of clause (b) of the said section.
