| It is felt that a more focused and effective enforcement of the provisions of the Child Labour (Prohibit & Regulation) Act, 1986 needs to be put in place in the districts during the 10th Plan period. Concerted and serious efforts should be made to enforce the law at the State and District level. In order to achieve this objective, the enforcement machinery will have to be geared up and activated suitably. |
