INDUSTRIAL COURT

          At the inception of the Gujarat State in the year, 1960, the Industrial Courts consisting of one President and two Members were functioning at Ahmedabad. At present, the Government sanctions 17 Industrial courts. Out of them 14 Industrial Courts are functioning, while 3 Industrial Courts are vacant as on 1.12.2001.

          The question of filling up these vacant posts of Member, Industrial Court is under active consideration of the Government with consultation of the Hon'ble High Court of Gujarat.
