Procedure Followed in Decision Making Process

Chapter – 9

The decisions are taken at different stages on the operation of the Department like Direct Recruitment / Promotion, Discipline related Procedure / Seniority / Confidential Report / Roster, Pay Scale, Budget, Co-Ordination, Labour Policy related, Employment Programs and their Policy and its implementation related activities, as per the Secretariat Manual of Office Procedures, Working Rules of the Gujarat Government and the Channel of Submission decided by the General Administrative Department. Following officers are associated in the procedure of Decision Making.

 H.E. Governor
 Hon. Chief Minister
 Hon. Minister – Labour & Employment (Independent Charge) Chief Secretary
 Principal Secretary, General Administration Department / Finance Department
 Joint Secretary / Deputy Secretary
 Under Secretary / Section Officer

The Administrative Decisions on the above subjects are taken as per the Channel of Submission with the approval of Hon. Minister / Hon. Chief Minister.

Taking in to the consideration, the other related subjects, the decision are taken as per the Channel of Submission of the Administrative Department with the approval / guidance of Administrative Head of the concerned department.
