Chief Inspector, Steam Boilers and Smoke Nuisance and his subordinate Boiler Inspectors implement the Indian Boiler Act and the Act of Smoke Nuisance and its subsidiary Rules. | | | The Director, Industrial Safety and Health, Ahmedabad | | Director, Industrial Safety and Health enforces the laws of his jurisdiction. Mainly the functions related to the effective implementation of the Factories Act, the Payment of Wages Act, the Maternity Benefit Act and the Building & Other Construction Workers Act, 1996. | | |
