This scheme is in force since 26-4-93. The registered workers & his / her family members get the benefit of this scheme.
For the whole family of the worker once in a year they get the medical aid up to Rs.750/- on production of the bills of Government hospitals, Municipal Corporation's hospitals & other recognized hospitals. From 1-4-2005 medical aid has been increased up to Rs. 2000/-. For the treatment of eyes, hospital facilities of Maniben Eye Hospital, Saraspur, Ahmedabad and Oganaj Eye Hospital, Oganaj Gam have been included.
The amt. Extended up to Rs.900/- for the workers suffering from diseases like Cancer, TB, Leprosy.
