Maternity Benefit Scheme :-
This scheme is started since 30-11-1993. Under this scheme the registered lady worker gets Rs.500 & 400 for 1st and 2nd delivery subsequently.
The lady worker who under go an operation of family planning after 1st or 2nd child's birth gets Rs.250/- more as an incentive.
The entire expenditure of this scheme is made out of Grant in aid given by the State Government.
