Aim :-
For the purpose of ensuring an adequate
supply and full & proper utilization of unprotected workers,
and generally for making better provision for in respect of the
terms & condition of employment of such workers.
Object & Application of this scheme
:-
The object of this scheme are to
ensure an adequate supply & full & proper utilization of
unprotected workers employed in Cloth Markets or Shops in connection
with loading, unloading, stacking, sorting, carrying, weighing,
measuring, filling, stitching, sorting, cleaning, or such other
work including work preparatory or incidental to such operations
for making better provisions for the terms & condition of employment
of such workers & make provision for their general welfare.
The scheme is applicable to registered
workers & registered employers in cloth markets or shops in
connection with loading, unloading, stacking, carrying, weighing,
measuring, filling, stitching, sorting, cleaning, or such other
work preparatory or accidental to such operations in the area specified
in schedule.
Clause 12 & 13 of this
scheme are into force since 15th April 1981. Remaining
clauses of the scheme are in to force since 15th May
1981.
Functions of the Board :-
6(3) The Board is having
& maintaining its own fund to which following is being credited.
(a) all moneys received by the
Board from the State Govt.
(b) all fees, wages & levies received by the Board under
this scheme
(c) all moneys received by the
Board by way of sale & disposal of properties & other
assets
(d) interest on investment in securities
& deposits rents & all moneys received by the Board in
any other manner or from any other source.
6(4) All moneys
forming part of the funds shall be kept in current or deposit account
with the State Bank of India or the Reserve Bank of India or in
any nationalized scheduled Bank or any Co-Operative Bank or invested
in such securities as may be approved by the Board.
The Board has authorized the secretary to
operate such account.

For implementation of the provisions
of scheme of 1981 and as per requirements planning of general assembly
is arranged.
