(5) Fees for Inspection & Hydraulic Test of Steam / Feed Pipe Line   Sr. No.   Description Amount      (Rs.) 1 For the pipes of nominal bore not exceeding100 mm inclusive of all fittings excepting like desuperheaters, steam-receiver,feed heaters and separately fired super-heaters for 30 metres of pipes or part thereof 200/- 2 For the pipes of nominal bore exceeding 100 mm inclusive of all fittings excepting like desuperheaters, steam-receiver,feed heaters and separately fired super-heaters for 30 metres or part thereof 500/- 3 Fees for inspection of fittings like feed water heaters, de-superheaters, steam receivers, separators  and separately fired superheaters for each such fittings. 500/-   Inspection fees for :   1 For inspection of tubes and pipes, the fees shall be charged at the rate of Rs. 150/- per metric tonne or a fraction thereof 150/- 2 For valves:     Subject to a minimum inspection fee of Rs.500/- per inspection for the vlaves, the inspection fee shall be charged as under 500/- a Upto 25 mm per piece 5/- b Above 25 mm and upto 100 mm per piece 20/- c Above 100 mm and upto 250 mm per piece 150/- d Above 250 mm per piece  400/- 4 For forged and cast flanges, the fees shall be charged as under:   a Upto and including 25 mm for a batch of 50 or part thereof 120/- b Upto and including 25 mm for a batch of 100 or part thereof  220/- c Over 25 mm upto and 50 mm for a batch of 50 or part thereof 240/- d Over 50 mm upto and including 100 mm for a batch of 25 or part thereof 240/- e Over 100 mm upto and including 250 mm for a batch of 10 or part thereof  260/- f Over 250 mm for a batch of 5 or part thereof  300/- 5 For plate flanges the fees shall be charged at half the rate as charged for forged and cast flanges.   6 Fees for inspection of forged pipe fittings shall be charged at the rate  specified for forged and cast flanges.   7 For pipe fittings other than forged pipe fittings the fees shall be charged as under:   a Upto and including 50 mm, for 100 kg. Or a fraction therefore  50/- b Over 50 mm and upto and including 100 mm for 450 kg. Or fraction thereof 250/- c Over 100 mm for 900 kg. Or a fraction therefore 500/- 8(I)  fees for Inspection of spares and scantling:-For all types of coils, namely economiser coils, super-heaters coils, re-heaters coils, the fee for inspection shall be charged on the basis of surface area as provided in regulation no 385( Registration fees for boilers)   8(ii)  scantling :-The fee for inspection of scantlings shall be charged as under   a For outside surface area not exceeding 1 m2   500/- b For outside surface area not exceeding 1 m2  but not exceeding 3 m2   600/- c For outside surface area not exceeding 3 m2  but not exceeding 5 m2   700/- d For outside surface area not exceeding 5m2  but not exceeding 7 m2  800/- e For outside surface area not exceeding 7 m2  but not exceeding 9 m2   900/- f For outside surface area not exceeding 9 m2  but not exceeding 11 m2   1000/-   For outside surface area  exceeding 11 m2 a fee of Rs.50/- shall be charged for every 2  m2 or part thereof subject to a maximum of Rs.5000/-.   9 Fees for the inspection of boiler at the site of construction shall be charged at the rate of four times the registration fees.   10 Fees for exmination of  welder's under these regulations shall be Rs.100/- and this shall be born by the applicant / sponser.In addition, the applicant / sponser shall bear all other expenses like cost of material and workshop and testing facilities as fixed by the competent Authority  100/-

(6) DRAWING SCRUTINY FEES 1 For manfacturing drawings of boilers   The fees for the scrutiny of the manufacutrng drawings and the particulars of the materials, design and construction of boilers under sub-regulations (a) or (b) of Regulation-393, shall be on the scale prescribed in regulation 385 (i.e. registration fees of boilers) subject to a maximum of Rs.20,000/- when the manufacturing drawings have been scrutinised and in respect of them alterations have been suggested and the same are resubmitted for scrutiny, separate fee at the rate of 10 % of the fee for the first scrutiny of the drawings shall be payable if the manufacturing drawings contain alterations other then those previously suggested. 2 For plans and particulars of materials, design and construction of steam pipes shall be at the rate of Rs.30/- for 30 meters of piping or part thereof 3 For Heat Exchangers, Pressure Vessels etc. shall be charged as per scale prescribed in regulation 385 (i.e. registration fees of boiler). 4 For fitting like de-superheaters, steam receivers, separators and flanges shall be Rs.150/- for each category of such identical fittings.
