Special activities for Women :-

       Here it may be made clear that woman with their limitation do participants in all other activities conducted at centers including games and sports. But Sewing Class with machine constitute main attraction at the Welfare Center for women residing in its vicinity. This class is, therefore, organized in a systematic is provided with a few sewing machines at the initial stages. Thereafter sewing machines are supplied on matching basis (i.e. equal contribution from the centers club) taking in view the attendance at the center. The women attending these classes from a sewing club and collect token fee which is utilised for purchase of additional sewing machines on matching basis or for appointing and assistant sewing instructor and also towards primary repairs to machine.

Tailoring Class (T.C.W.C.G. DIPLOMA COURSE) :-

      Presently 8 tailoring classes are conducted for imparting training in women and children garments. These classes are conducted for the Govt. Diploma issued by Director of Technical Education, Government of Gujarat which is full flagged course for one year and women who have passed 7th std. In Gujarat or vernacular final are admitted in this class. The results achieved so far require encouraging. With this Diploma the women can find employment as teacher.

Garba Competition :-

      Garba is the most popular folk dance in Gujarat. It is a must for all women in Gujarat. The Board is arranged annual competition in Garba on State Level since last so many years in which almost all centers participate. Besides all State festivals, local competition are also arranged at centers during "Navratri Mahotsava."
